2004 Triumph Daytona for sale in good condition with just over 18000 showing on the clock, 12months MOT and taxed until end of Sept 14. Originally it was registered as a Daytona 600 but I replaced the engine with a Daytona 650 engine at around 16000 (the replacement engine had just gone past 18000). The only reason I replaced the engine because the offer was too good to refuse and I thought this would be my forever bike, however a new house sale has made me rethink that! I have owned the bike since 2006 and she has been great. As you can see from the photos there are lots of receipts and past MOT certificates. Originally yellow I had the bike resprayed by a garage in alnwick -pearlescent white, which does look good in the sunshine. I've also fitted a Tuneboy, which let's you alter the power maps yourself with the aid of a laptop and the cable (supplied). Also fitted to the bike is an aftermarket exhaust (not too loud), the original is available to take away also. In the early days of ownership it was serviced by the garage but mainly she has been serviced mainly by myself and as recently as a couple of months ago when she received, new oil, new plugs, new oil filter and the coolant replaced. It has just passed it's MOT with no advisors. Brand new tyres have been fitted and have only covered about 25miles (to the MOT station and back!). The bike has never been crashed, admittedly it has been dropped once after I had owned it for 1week - yes I felt like a pillock picking it up after forgetting about my right leg. Even at that time the only damage was a scuff to the bar end and a cracked right indicator, my leg saved the rest. I've tried to be as honest as I can, the best way to judge for yourself is to come and have a look. Please remember she is 10yrs old but nonetheless she can keep up with the new whipper snappers easily enough. I have a genuine reason for sale (new house deposit) and to be honest if it doesn't sell I can then say well at least I tried to the wife and then say I'll have to keep the bike. Please no time wasters, I am open to offers but not silly offers. The price I'm looking for is £2,200 which is reasonable for the condition and age of the bike.
